 Thanks for plugging into my website and supporting Independent Music. I am a songwriter living in Central Florida and I have a CD titled "Picture of You". This CD features 12 songs including Picture of You (the tune on the Flash Music Video by Todd Clegg). My approach towards songwriting is very similar to that of taking a picture! While taking a picture captures a specific "moment in time", writing a song serves to capture "a specific emotion".
I had written Picture of You hoping to capture the emotions of serving in the military and being away from home and loved ones. It is based on my experience in the Army where I saw the wonderful power of pictures and the magical introspection they inspire. Looking at the pictures and reading letters the world always seemed to come to a halt......It was the same feeling as staying in the car to listen when a good song starts. And so Picture of You was inspired by and written for the brave men and women who fight to protect freedom through out the world.
I am working on having mp3 single song downloads available on this website. I have also added a new song/video called "I" in honor of the Troops who made the ultimate sacrifice as well as one called "My Life" dedicated to our Firefighters, Police and Military. Soon I will be adding a video for new song called Flag Up High, It is a rocking tune that has a very timely message. And so I appreciate your stopping in to check up on my tunes.
